The Inspiration and Revelation:
Photographing a peacock was the beginning inspiration for these wings. About a year after this image was painted, I was taken up to the heavenlies during deep worship. Overwhelmed as I watched this angel, he was huge, with silver hair, and he was worshipping the Lord. His wings were deep rich colors. As they moved back and forth, the wings would turn beautifully translucent. The Lord showed me this was the same angel that He inspired me to paint a year before.
Artists Comments:
Some artist's "get a vision" and then paint it. Usually I receive instructions from the Lord piece by piece. Most of the time I do not have any idea what the image will end up looking like until it is much further along in the process. After it is complete, the revelation unfolds, and continues unfolding . . .
This image is available in a large print or canvas (22 x 44) upon request. What a beautiful painting to have in your home, church, office or ministry.
